Seven Nigerian troops killed in ISWAP attack

Seven fighters were killed on Tuesday when Islamic State-associated jihadists assaulted a military situation in northeastern Nigeria, two military sources told AFP.

Warriors in a few trucks fitted with automatic rifles assaulted a military situation in Mainok town, 56 kilometers (35 miles) from Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, they said on Wednesday

"We lost seven men in the assault by the psychological oppressors. Two officers disappeared and five troopers were harmed," the primary source said.
